Don't trust the catalog line drawing. The adapter nose has a width, a height, and a taper. Put a caliper on it and write all three numbers down. Also write the distance from the pin hole center to the back edge of the adapter.
If the measurement lands between two sizes, call someone who actually handles ESCO parts and ask. A tooth-to-adapter fit is like a balloon pump nozzle: if the opening doesn't match the valve, you can push all day and get nothing. It's not a force problem. It's a geometry problem.
