Raw Material Inspection

Every steel batch undergoes spectrometry analysis to verify alloy composition against OEM-equivalent material standards. Manganese steel (12–14% Mn) for standard teeth; chromium-molybdenum alloy for rock-grade applications.

Hardness Testing

Rockwell C (HRC) hardness testing on 100% of heat-treated parts. Standard teeth: HRC 48–52. Rock teeth: HRC 52–56. Test certificates available on request for every batch.

Dimensional Verification

CMM (coordinate measuring machine) inspection of critical mounting dimensions. Pin bore tolerance: +0.05mm / -0.00mm. Ensures drop-in fitment with OEM adapter systems.

OEM Cross-Reference

Every ESCO part number is validated against original OEM part dimensions, weight, and mounting configuration. Our database covers 5,000+ cross-references to Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Volvo, and Liebherr systems.

Impact Testing

Charpy V-notch impact testing at -20 C on all mining-grade teeth and adapters. Minimum 27 J at -20 C ensures ductile performance in cold-climate mining operations.

Batch Traceability

Every part carries a heat number linking it to raw material batch, furnace record, heat treatment parameters, and quality inspection report. Full traceability maintained for 10 years.
